What did we do?
Leader Summaries were not unknown. Link had developed the previous platform, so we already knew about the project. Leader Summaries gave us their new vision, the objectives they wanted to achieve, and the problems they faced in the management part, and, thanks to our knowledge of the project, we were able to advise them from the beginning of the process.
We had access to analytics, and we shared the knowledge of the project from both the client and the users, as well as Link's own staff.
Ideation / Design
The design was provided by Leader Summaries, so we did a UX advisory job, respecting the provided methods as much as possible.
We carried out several user tests, where, as a result, some changes and new implementations were made for better compression and speed in the actions that were to be carried out by the users.
For the management part, we identified features that were not needed, so they were suppressed. On the other hand, we saw that other elements were necessary to give Leader Summaries more agility and autonomy on a day-to-day basis.
Implementation and Development
This time we had a significant development, connecting the Front (SaaS Platform) with the Back (Management Platform).
The development was like in other projects: starting from our CORE product, implementing the specific modules for Leader Summaries (Subscriptions, Summaries, Quiz, Authors...)
Our CORE product has an architecture based on microservices. This software architecture allows us to deploy new evolutions on the production platform in a controlled and automated way.
The hosting is in accordance with the infrastructure, using Azure services to host, monitor, and scale at the request of our customers.
Our way of working was to define some Milestones with Leader Summaries, approximately every two weeks, depending on the features that were to be implemented. We tested it with Leader and with its users, where changes or new features could arise, all without losing sight of the project's deadline. That meant that, even if there were date changes, we managed to get a product wholly adapted to Leader that was also scalable.
The Results
We have achieved a much more attractive and readable product, which attracts the user's attention, making them want to interact with it, making the information that most interests them more visible. This gives them the possibility to state their opinion and choose what they want to consume, providing challenges to achieve.
On the other hand, with the management platform, we have managed to streamline processes and include many others that were needed to improve their day-to-day activities. This allowed them to save time in order to be able to invest in other actions and, above all, to be autonomous when it comes to changing content, registering users, creating their subscriptions, etc.
Everything has been done thanks to the combination of completely different profiles, both from Link and from Leader Summaries.
